St. Andrew’s offers parents only one guardianship package which is fully inclusive and covers every aspect of a students’ life in the UK.  If any particular service is required and is not mentioned in the list given below, parents and students should feel able to request the additional service and whenever possible that service will be provided at no extra cost.

All the services listed below are available and are covered by the termly fees which can be seen on the enclosed List of Fees

 

Personal Service     

  • Interpreter
  • Personal assistant as required whether for social or business reasons
  • VIP shopping service and guided visits to prestigious shopping centres
  • Arranging entertainment, including restaurant reservations, theatre trips and London shows
  • Arranging days out to concerts and sporting events etc.
  • Arranging Easter and Summer recreational or academic courses
  • Arranging medical, dental and optician appointments and accompanying your child if required to these appointments
  • Ensuring exemption from UK Council Tax or other UK taxes not applicable to UK students
  • Courier services
  • Organising birthday celebrations
  • Helping with the purchase of mobile phones and mobile phone contracts
  • Organising all forms of insurance, whether this is to cover private medical care or personal belongings    

 

Travel arrangements    

  • Arrangements for travelling to and from the airport to the school or college
  • Flight reservations

 

School and College Placement and Academic Services   

  • Advice on which UK school or college to send your son or daughter
  • Assistance with completing all school documentation and application forms
  • Arrangements for additional tuition as and when required (additional fees may apply)
  • Regular visits by the St. Andrew’s Principal to your son or daughter’s school or college to monitor academic progress and their general welfare (minimum of six visits per term)
  • Accompanying your son and daughter on their first day at school
  • Monthly reports sent to parents on their children’s academic progress and well-being
  • Arranging and accompanying parents to school meetings
  • Interpreting services if required at school meetings
  • Assistance with uniform purchases
  • Assistance with all other school purchases including books, sports equipment, bedding, towels etc.
  • Attendance at parents’ evenings to meet your children’s teachers

 

University Applications   

  • Advice on all aspects of university applications
  • Assistance with the completion of the University Application Form (the UCAS form)
  • University interview practice and preparation
  • Accompanied visits to universities
  • Advice on applications to overseas universities such as the USA and Australia

 

Financial arrangements   

  • Setting up bank accounts and assisting with Foreign Exchange
  • Advising on and monitoring pocket money
  • Termly financial statements.  St. Andrew’s will always consult with parents in advance before incurring any additional costs payable by them
  • If required, the payment of school fees on behalf of the parent

 

Visas   

  • Advising and assisting with all aspects of visa applications and renewals
  • Accompanying students when visa or passport appointments take place in the UK
  • Arranging visa and passport appointments as required
  • Liaising with schools and colleges to provide a visa support letter

 

Meet and Greet at the airport   

Parents may feel assured that their son or daughter will always be met at the airport on their arrival at any UK airport by a member of the St. Andrew’s staff.  They will then be chauffeur driven to their school or college at no extra cost.
